Saying that his Symphony [in F minor, op. 12] will be published by Aibl by the beginning of October, asking the recipient if he would consider programming it, possibly as early as that winter or early in the new year--it is most important to Aibl that the symphony be played in the first winter following publication--, recalling the recipient's kindnesses to Strauss in Frankfurt, etc.
